Ekids is a place where children can come to know God in a fun, welcoming, loving, energetic and exciting atmosphere through worship, teaching, prayer and the word of God. Our Vision is to inspire a love for Jesus, His word, His church and His people, encouraging kids to live for Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. Is this your first time at ekids? We love seeing new children at ekids. We would love you to let us know that this is your first time and a leader will hand you a free hot chocolate card that the child can redeem upstairs at the coffee station. People wanting to stay in our programs Adult visitors attending any ekids program must only be the Parent/Guardian or Carer of the children signed in to our program. They must register as visiting the room and will be given a name badge so that they are easily identifiable to leaders, other parents and children. This badge must be worn at all times whilst in any ekids program. Safety We place the safety of your children at the highest priority, using an electronic check in system to protect your child. Our Team Our Team is made up of both Junior and Adult Leaders. At ekids we believe in giving children paths to serve, whether it be our Grade 6 Children helping at Sign in or our Junior Leaders (Grade 7-12) assisting our Adult Team. The whole team from Grade 7 up undergo a screening process prior to working with children and this is reviewed annually. Our Programs Bellerive Service – Zone One (1 – 2 Years) This group have a dedicated room with child friendly furniture, along with activities suited to that precious age. Each week children not only experience a structured program, but also are able to express themselves during free play. Bellerive Service – Zone Two (3 years – Kindergarten) Each week this group starts off with the older aged children from zones three and four, where they sing, dance and learn as part of a larger group and then shortly after move to their specialised area which delivers a balance of teaching, crafts & games. The group also learn to not only work as individuals, but also as a team. They follow a structured learning order, whilst at the same time having fun. Children also work with their hands doing a craft each week. Bellerive Service – Zone Three (Prep – Grade 5) This room is designed with a similar format to the adult service, such as praise and worship, offering, and biblical teaching that can also include games, crafts, memorisation and various other fun teaching ideas. Children also have the opportunity to play an active part in the running of the service. Bellerive Service – Zone Four “Fuse” (Grade 6) Like Zone Three, this program is designed in a similar format to the adult service. We also run a program that is designed to prepare our children for the changes to life and school they will be facing over the next twelve months. Derwent Valley Service – (Ages 1 to Grade 6) We have a holistic approach with all children of all appropriate ages in together. There is a structured program which is extremely flexible in its approach, and includes a lesson, games, craft and activities.
